Hi, I’m Preeti.
I’m a strategic healthcare writer with a background in global brand advertising, an MSc in Psychology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Neuroscience.
I specialise in making complex health science clear, credible and meaningful to the people it’s designed to reach.
I didn’t start in healthcare.
For nearly two decades, I worked in global advertising across Asia Pacific, China and the Middle East, helping brands shape their messaging and influence behaviour at scale.
Those years taught me things that no science background alone can teach. I learnt how people engage with information, what cuts through, what gets ignored, and what actually lands and why with an audience. I now understand the difference between a message that is technically correct and one that genuinely moves people.
My move into health wasn’t a strategic pivot. It was personal.
At a point where everything looked on track from the outside, I chose to step away from my career. Not because I had something better lined up, but because something no longer felt right. What followed was a period of confusion that I couldn’t easily explain at the time, which I later understood to be linked to a hormonal imbalance.
Like many others, I went looking for answers. What I found was information, but very little understanding. The language was jargon-heavy, often contradictory and disconnected from the experience of actually living with a medical condition.
That experience changed how I see healthcare communication. Behind every piece of content is a person trying to make sense of something that matters deeply to them, and too often they are not being spoken to in a way that reflects that reality.
What I do now.
Today, I work as a strategic healthcare writer and communications partner, specialising in complex, research-led communication for healthcare brands, digital health companies, biotech and medtech organisations, and healthcare agencies.
My work spans health white papers and research reports, thought leadership, case studies, patient communications and investor materials, including lay summaries.
I work particularly with businesses in women’s health, digital therapeutics, healthtech and complex biotech and medtech areas where the distance between technical accuracy and real-world understanding tends to be the widest.
Work with me.
I work with a small number of clients at a time, which means the work gets the attention it deserves.
If you’re working on something where the communication needs to do the heavy lifting, I’d like to help.
